In these pandemic times, filled with stress, anxiety, negativity and the uncertainty of what’s to come, who doesn’t appreciate a little distraction sometimes; some positivity infused into our day to day, something to make us smile, or to squeeze a smile out from those around us.

My two daughters absolutely ADORE unicorns. ADORE is almost an understatement when I speak of these beloved creatures in my home! My husband and I are easily outnumbered and it has been this way now for quite some time. Each special occasion celebration sees the addition of more things unicorn and, as time goes on, this love continues to grow exponentially.

There’s definitely something to these magical creatures because everywhere we go, familiar faces and strangers alike are eager to engage in unicorn chatter. From trips to the shops, the bank, the park…heck, I took my younger daughter to the car dealership just recently only to have a bunch of men, young and old, go silly bananas over the fact that everything about her was unicorn!
