Grammarly is a grammar checking and proofreading tool that is used by millions of people every day. It is available as a web app, a desktop app, and a mobile app. It can be used to check grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes in any text, whether it is a document, an email, a tweet, or a Facebook post.
Grammarly checks your spelling, grammar, and punctuation for mistakes and gives you suggestions on how to fix them. It also checks for plagiarism and can help you improve your writing style.
Grammarly is very easy to use. Simply create a free account and start writing. As you type, Grammarly will check your grammar, spelling, and punctuation and highlight any mistakes. You can then click on any mistake to see a suggestion for how to fix it.

Here's how the online version of Grammarly works:
Sign up for Grammarly: https://app.grammarly.com
Select “New document” from the menu on the top left corner
Enter your text by typing or copy-paste the text you want to check into the Grammarly editor.
Grammarly checks your text for mistakes.
Grammarly provides suggestions on how to fix the mistakes.
You make the changes and improve your writing.
The online version analyses your text and shows you the overall score and suggestions on the right-hand side (assistant).

In the overall score, Grammarly shows the text score which rates the quality of your writing with points from 1 to 100. The overview shows you the character, word and sentence count, reading time as well as speaking time. Grammarly compares your text to other users and rates your text for readability, so you can check if the target audience is likely to understand your writing. Grammarly also counts unique and rare words.
Below the overall score, you can see the suggestions from Grammarly. With the suggestions from Grammarly, you can increase the score. The suggestions include correctness, clarity, engagement, and delivery. To take advantage of the suggestions from Grammarly or the plagiarism check you will need a premium or business account.
The premium version for individuals is $ 12/month and includes full-sentence rewrites, word choice, tone suggestions, and plagiarism detection. The business version for the team starts at $ 15/month and includes a style guide, snippets, brand tones, analytics dashboard, account roles, and permissions.
Grammarly desktop app
If you want Grammarly to check the text you are typing on your desktop computer you can download the Grammarly app.
The desktop version of Grammarly is available for Windows and Mac and can be downloaded from the following URL: https://www.grammarly.com/desktop.
Once installed on your computer Grammarly checks the text you are typing in every editable text field in every App on your computer - except for the Apps you want to block. A green Icone with a “G” appears next to the cursor in the text field you are typing to indicate that Grammarly is active. You can click on the G-Icon to disable Grammarly temporarily or constantly for the App you are currently using. When Grammarly detects an issue the green G-Icon will turn read and indicate with a number how many issues it found.
To correct the issue simply click on the word that is marked by Grammarly and it will present you with the available corrections and then select the one you prefer.
I've been using the desktop version of Grammarly for several months now, and it has helped me greatly improve my writing. Not only does it catch errors that I would otherwise miss, but it also provides helpful explanations so I can learn from my mistakes.
I highly recommend Grammarly to anyone who wants to improve their writing. It's an invaluable tool that I use every day.
