In a world where standardized testing and conformity are the norm, it's easy to forget that children are born creative geniuses. Over time, however, the educational system has a way of stifling that creativity, leading to what Sir Ken Robinson calls "education's death valley." In this TED Talk, Robinson argues that we need to radically rethink education in order to nurture, rather than kill, creativity. He offers three specific ways to do this:

1. Get rid of the idea that there are "right" and "wrong" answers.

2. Encourage risk-taking and experimentation.

3. Teach children to think divergently.

Why we think this video is worth watching (19 min):

It's a fascinating talk that will make you think twice about the way we currently educate our children.
