Built in the 14th century, the Ponte del Diavolo was once used as an execution site for criminals. In fact, its name comes from a legend about a devil who helped build the bridge in exchange for the soul of its first person to cross it. These days, however, there's no need to be afraid of crossing this beautiful bridge!
